Happy 45th Birthday Diane Lane!

Born January 22, 1965

"I'm fascinated by how Hollywood has changed since I started. Today it's about immediate delivery. There's less risk and less art."

Even though she is older than me I feel like I've grown up with Diane Lane. From her early days in A Little Romance, Six Pack, The Outsiders and even Lonesome Dove I have always loved her. I was drawn to famous redheads because they gave me hope that I wouldn't always be tormented by my own red hair which I HATED as a kid.

Diane Lane is my homegirl.

Film Scene I Love - The Outsiders

Diane Lane and C. Thomas Howell in The Outsiders. The scene I want to post starts at 1:18 in and ends at 3:45.

I love this short sunset scene in The Outsiders between Cherry Valance and Ponyboy Curtis. Diane Lane was so beautiful! It perfectly encompasses the strife between the Socs and the Greasers in just their little bit of dialogue.
